The Disney on Ice Worlds of Fantasy show was one of the best shows and unlike any of the other Disney on Ice shows we’ve seen. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse were narrators of the different fantasy worlds that were introduced which told the stories from the Little Mermaid movie, Tinkerbell and the Disney Fairies, and Toy Story 3.
The fantastic sets, colorful costumes, and hearing the classic loved songs from the different movies made it a great experience. My kids were amazed to see Tow Mater and Lightning McQueen as life size cars racing through the ice. It was incredible to see the story of Ariel and Eric and how the place was transformed to an undersea world with sea creatures, animals, and all the characters from the movie. With the Pixie Hollow World, the kids were surprised and in awe as the Queen Fairy and Tinkerbell fly through the air as they were suspended from the ceiling and moved through the building. The last fantasy world was the story of Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the Toy story characters as they escape from Sunnyside Daycare to return home before Andy goes to college. There were funny and humorous moments in the interaction between Barbie and Ken as she outwits him to save her friends.
If you are like me, and love these beloved Disney characters and movies, you will love the Disney on Ice show as it is brought to life. When the show ended, my son shared how much he liked it and that “it was not long enough!” It is a great show which is highly recommended for kids of all ages and the whole family will be entertained!
